My Favorite Tools

iPad –

I absolutely love my iPad. It’s what I draw on 99% of the time. Digital art files take up some memory so I recommend you get one with the most GB you can afford. This Amazon link is for the 128 GB iPad which will allow you to go a long time before upgrading.

iPad Pencil –

If you’ve read my articles, you know I often draw with my fingers. However, if you’re more accustomed to sketching with a pencil in a sketchbook, then the iPad Pencil will be very helpful and feel more normal for you. Here is the Amazon link for the Apple Pencil that I use.

iPad Case –

There are lots of different cases and protective covers. This is the one I prefer because it folds into a stand which makes it very convenient when using a desk or table. It is the Speck Folio Case from Amazon. You can fold the case down if you’re drawing while sitting on the sofa, which is truly one of the most awesome things about the iPad. You can draw anywhere!

Air Pods –

I used to go through so many ear buds that I started buying them at the dollar store. They only lasted about a week whether I paid $1 or $40 per pair. Then I received a pair of Air Pods for Christmas. They are amazing! I haven’t had to buy disposable ear buds since.
