How to Remove the Background from a Photo using Powerpoint

Launch Powerpoint Open a blank presentation and remove the text boxes

Click Insert Picture and select a photo from your device or online

Double-click your photo, then click Remove Background in the top left corner of Powerpoint

You will see Pink/Magenta color on all of the parts to be removed. However, sometimes Powerpoint colors parts that you want to keep (like my right arm in this example).

If that happens, just click Mark Areas to Keep in the top left corner, and drag your mouse over any portions that are pink/magenta, but you want to keep. Release your mouse and those parts will now be included. Select Keep Changes in the top left of Powerpoint, and your background is gone! You can now save as a .jpg or .png.
